National Sports Day
Little Flower School Loni, celebrated National Sports Day, On the occasion of birth anniversary of hockey player Major Dhyan Chand. This day marks the birthday of Major Dhyan Chand Singh, the hockey player who won gold medals in Olympics for India in the years 1928, 1932 and 1936. As a part of an event, hurdle race was held for grade 1 and 2 students. Hurdle race helps students to enhance strength, flexibility, balance and conditioning. For grade 3 students Dodgeball activity was held. This requires players to have shoulder, arm, back, and abs strength. Repeatedly throwing the dodge ball can help players build muscle endurance, making them stronger and more resilient. On the occasion of National sports day VPMS organized Rolling Unit Trophy Tounaments’. In this tournament Little Flower School, Loni participated in Football, Basketball, Kho-Kho and Yoga. LFS has earned Silver medal in basketball and Bronze medal in Kho-Kho and Under 14 Yoga competition.
Students participated actively in all the activities and enjoyed a lot.
