“Inspiring Minds, Igniting Dreams: Celebrating Dr. Kalam’s Legacy of Knowledge and Vision!”
LFS celebrated the birth anniversary of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the beloved former President of India and renowned scientist, with great enthusiasm and reverence. The day commenced with a special assembly to honor Dr. Kalam’s legacy and contributions to the nation.
The event began with a solemn tribute as our esteemed Principal, Vice Principal, and Coordinators garlanded the portrait of Dr. Kalam and lit the ceremonial lamp, signifying the light of knowledge and inspiration that Dr. Kalam symbolizes.
Following this, a few students delivered inspiring speeches, reflecting on Dr. Kalams life, his work, and his vision for the future of India. The speeches beautifully captured Dr. Kalam’s dedication to education, science, and his dream of an empowered youth.
As a unique tribute to Dr. Kalams love for learning, the school organized a special activity titled DEAR PROGRAM (Drop Everything and Read). All students participated in this activity, where they paused their regular routines to indulge in reading, embracing Dr. Kalam’s belief that “learning gives creativity, creativity leads to thinking, thinking provides knowledge, and knowledge makes you great.”
