“The Tide recedes but leaves behind bright sea shells on the sand.” Little Flower School celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Dr. Padmashri Vikhe Patil the founder father of Vikhe Patil Foundation on 22nd August 2021. The celebration began by garlanding the portrait by Mrs. Nandini Vikhe Patil, Director of school Programme and joint secretary and lamp lightning by the school principal Mrs. Swati Ma’am.The parents and students attended the programme virtually.
Padmashri’s birthday is celebrated as ‘Farmer’s Day’. With an objective the inculcate the value of agriculture , Little Flower School conducted interviews of the Farmer Parents who are economically stable and had overcome challenges faced in past years. Students of std X interviewed these farmers alongwith with teachers. This made the students realize the efforts taken by these farmers and helped them to change their perspective towards Agriculture as an Occupation. School prepared a small video highlighting these interviews and uploaded on school’s You Tube channel. This was a true tribute to Founder Father on his birthday. Parents expressed their gratitude towards the school management, Principal and entire LFS family. This was the first time that LFS has started the new initiative . The programme concluded with the vote of thanks.
