World Nature Conservation Day

‘Conservation means the wise use of the earth and its resources for the lasting good of men.’ World Nature Conservation Day is celebrated on 28 July every year. The day is observed with an aim to safeguard our natural resources and preserve our environment at large. To commence the occasion students of classes 9 & 10 carried out a “Tree Plantation programme” in Sahyadri Vanrai, Tandulneer. The saplings were planted by these students with the help of the teachers, school drivers and parent volunteers. This initiative was an appeal to everyone to contribute towards maintaining the balance in nature.
