Celebrating Cultures, Embracing Knowledge!
On 14th January 2024, Little Flower School, Loni, celebrated Makar Sankranti and Geographical Day with a vibrant and educational special assembly. The event showcased the rich cultural diversity of India, as students dressed in traditional attire representing various states, bringing to life the unique heritage and customs of each region.
During the assembly, students delivered insightful presentations on the significance of Makar Sankranti, a festival that marks the harvest season and the transition of the sun into the zodiac sign Capricorn. Additionally, they highlighted the importance of Geographical Day,
emphasizing the role of geography in understanding the world around us.
The celebration was a perfect blend of culture and education, providing students with an opportunity to appreciate the diversity and unity of India while deepening their knowledge of geographical concepts.
