Tributes of Valor and Vision: Kargil Vijay Diwas & Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Remembrance at LFS

“A nation’s strength lies in the courage of its soldiers and the vision of its leaders.”

At LFS, a special assembly was conducted to mark the solemn observance of Kargil Vijay Diwas and the death anniversary of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, two events that hold deep national significance.

The program began with a tribute to the brave soldiers of the Kargil War, where students performed a moving skit honoring their sacrifices and undying spirit. As a mark of deep respect, a lamp-lighting ceremony and garlanding of Dr. Kalam’s portrait were carried out to remember the “Missile Man of India”, whose life continues to inspire generations.

A moment of pride for LFS was the felicitation of Mr. Pathare, our esteemed administration officer, who was part of the Kargil War. He was honored by the Principal for his bravery and service to the nation.

To further reinforce the values of discipline, empathy, awareness, and respect, the DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) program was conducted on Monday, promoting thoughtful reflection and learning across the school.

This joint observance served as a powerful reminder of the courage, service, and dedication that shape our nation and our students’ character.
