‘International women’s day’ was celebrated in Little Flower School, Loni. The guests of the programme were the physically challenged women. It was an occasion for the LFS family to pause for a moment and appreciate these women who have successfully crossed the hurdles to overcome the challenges. The chief guest Mrs. Sharda Puri,working as a Telephone operator in Ahmednagar Engineering College spoke about the challenges they face and urged the students to show empathy to all these women. The objective behind this celebration was to make the students realize, understand and respect every single women they come across. A dance performance conveyed an inspiring message to the women of this generation to be women of courage, compassion and care at the same time not forgetting ti be a self reliant and an independent woman.The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by the school principal Mrs.Swati Kharde.
