Every year, the school celebrates the Birth Anniversary of Padmashree Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil. He was the great personality who established the first co-operative Sugar Factory in Asia and started school for the weaker section of the society. To remember his great service to the society, the Little Flower School Loni celebrated the birth Anniversary of Padmashree Dr. VitthalraoVikhe Patil on 30th August 2023. The birth anniversary celebration of Padmashree began with the lighting of the lamp and floral tributes by the Principal and Vice Principal. Students of Std X presented the assembly which began with the prayer, thought for the day, some interesting facts on
Padmashree’s life and the news headlines. To add more color to the celebrations, an interesting monologue on Padmashree Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil was shown to the students, teachers and the staff of LFS. The school principal and vice-principal fondly remembered the contributions of the founding fathers to the society which continue to inspire generations. 30th August, also being celebrated as ‘Farmer’s Day’, students narrated the significance of this auspicious day. The celebrations continued with tribute to farmers with the help of an act. It was also organized properly and it gave the importance of our farmer’s in our day to day life.
On this auspicious occasion, different activities were conducted for students as per standards such as Documentary on Padmashree, Quiz Competition, Slogan Writing and Poster Making etc. The eventful day ended with the distribution of sweets to all the students in Padmashree’s memory.
