74TH REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION

“Get Together, be the strength of the nation and help it to reach greatest”

The Little Flower School in Loni celebrated the 74th Republic Day on January 26, 2023, with the presence of the school’s Principal, Mrs. Swati Kharde, serving as the chief guest. The celebration started with the unfurling of the Indian national flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and Flag Song. In her address, Mrs. Kharde highlighted the significance of the day and reminded the students that their country’s future lies in their hands. She encouraged them to study hard and adopt good values that will make them responsible citizens.

A procession was organized to showcase the diverse culture and heritage of India, with themes based on four states: Delhi, Kerala, Jammu & Kashmir, and Nagaland represented by the Emerald, Coral, Sapphire, and Ruby houses, respectively. The 8th and 9th standard students participated in this theme. The procession was led by the house captains carrying the school’s name, followed
by the council members. The procession started with a traditional coconut breaking ceremony at the PMT gate and covered a route from the PMT gate to the Padmashree statue, then to the Chitralaya corner via the PVP College, ending at the Little Flower School. The students were provided with glucose water and chocolates along the way, and the procession was monitored by a safety human chain of teachers and other members, with the assistance of police officers to ensure the students’ safety.

The Republic Day celebration concluded with a message to build a great nation through collective efforts from every individual. The event was well-received by the students, teachers, non-teaching staff, support staff, and parents who witnessed the procession.
