Teacher’s Day Celebration
Teacher’s Day is celebrated in India every year on 5th September to appreciate the role played by teachers in the life of students–the leaders of tomorrow. The day is also celebrated to pay tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, former President of the country and a visionary
educator. A small celebration was organized by the class X students and their respective class teachers under the guidance of the school principal Swati ma’am in the morning assembly. The function commenced by garlanding the portrait and lighting the ceremonial lamp. The
students organized various activities for the teachers like treasure hunt, tug of war, and quiz. The students also arranged refreshments for teachers and rewarded the winning teacher’s team. They provided a platform for the teachers to showcase their inner talents apart from
teaching. Few teachers tried their hands on singing and acting. The teachers were overwhelmed with the love and affection showered by the students. To appreciate the efforts taken by the teachers the school Management organized an excursion for the teachers on 5th September. It is a way to enjoy, interact with friends outside of the school campus. It’s great to enjoy a little bit away from school and home for rejuvenation and energy, and this is exactly what happened.
The celebration ended with a beautiful memory in the hearts of everyone.
